What the software does
Forward Edge looks for Nasdaq futures trades that meet your strategy’s rules, submits orders, and follows its exit rules. The software runs on hosted servers, so you do not need to leave your computer on.
You choose the strategy and number of contracts, decide when automation runs, and remain responsible for your account. A stop order does not guarantee a maximum loss. Software, connection, or broker problems can delay or prevent orders from executing.
Check your broker connection
Eligible accounts connect through Tradovate. Having a NinjaTrader desktop login does not automatically mean your account is supported.
Connect your eligible live or demo account using TradeStation’s secure login.
For a prop firm account, confirm that it supports the broker connection and that the firm allows automated trading. Broker permissions and account restrictions still apply.
Ask us to check your setup before purchasingCompare how the strategies trade
All four strategies trade E-mini Nasdaq (NQ) or Micro E-mini Nasdaq (MNQ) futures during the day. Each follows different entry and exit rules. Compare trading frequency, returns, and drawdowns—drops from a previous balance high. No strategy guarantees a profit.
| Strategy | How it trades |
|---|---|
| AutoTrader | Trades at set times when market conditions meet its rules, with predefined stop-loss and exit rules. |
| Hybrid Trader | Looks for both continuing price moves and reversals, using different entry and exit rules for each. |
| Zone Trader | Looks for trades near defined price zones, with stop-loss and profit-target rules for each trade. |
| Master Trader | Combines setups from the Zone, Hybrid, and Auction strategies, with shared limits on positions. |
Open each strategy’s results to compare the test period, number of trades, drawdowns, and contract sizes used. Broker, market, or connection issues can affect scheduled exits and stop orders. Pause automation and close its positions before changing strategies.
Choose a plan for your accounts and contract size
Start with the number of brokerage accounts you want to connect. Then add up the contracts you plan to use across all accounts and strategies. For plan limits, 10 MNQ contracts count as 1 NQ. Each enabled strategy reserves part of your plan’s allowance, even between trades.
An account set to 1 NQ and another set to 10 MNQ need a plan for at least two accounts and 2 NQ equivalents. Individual account, balance, and broker rules may allow less than your plan’s maximum.
This helps you choose a plan that supports your settings. It does not recommend how much you should trade.
Check the costs and understand the results
Standard plans renew annually until cancelled. The price covers software access; trading capital, broker commissions, market data, and any broker or prop firm fees are separate. No performance fee is charged.
After payment, create your login and review the software terms and risk acknowledgements before connecting your broker. A broker demo account lets you learn the setup after purchase; it is not a free software trial.
Manage cancellation in Billing. Fees are generally non-refundable once access is granted or the billing period starts, except where required by law. Read the full terms.
Backtests estimate how a strategy might have performed using historical data; they are not actual customer returns. Check the dates, starting balance, contract size, and assumed costs. Review drawdowns—drops from a previous balance high—and losing periods alongside profits and trade counts.
How to get started
Choose a plan and complete your purchase.
Create your login, read the terms, and complete the risk acknowledgements.
Connect a supported live or demo broker account.
Choose a strategy, contract type, and number of contracts for each account.
Enable automation when you’re ready, then monitor your connection and account activity.
Pausing automation does not close open positions. Use the separate close control when needed, then confirm the position has closed with your broker.
